Pilatus announced the acquisition of American sales and service centre skytech Inc. Skytech has operated as a Pilatus independent Authorised Sales & Service Centre since 1993 from its two locations in Maryland and South Carolina. Pilatus will take over the entire skytech workforce.
With 20 years of experience and 150,000 hours of flight time, Jetfly is a leader of fractional ownership in Europe for both business and private aviation. The fleet of 60 Pilatus aircraft is now the largest in the world. It comprises 48 PC-12s and 12 PC-24s. For medium-range destinations, Jetfly offers the luxury to fly in Pilatus’ newest super versatile jet, the PC-24. Jetfly is headquartered in Luxembourg and employs 350 people, including 150 pilots.
The ceremonial handover of the fourth Super Versatile Jet to Platoon Aviation, the German charter operator, took place at AERO Friedrichshafen, Germany’s leading show for general aviation.
The handover of this jet to Jetfly Aviation marks another milestone in the history of the first Swiss business jet: the global fleet has clocked up over 33,500 safe hours in the air so far, of which over 2,375 hours have been accumulated by the fleet leader.
The new features are a testimony to Pilatus‘ core philosophy to continuously improve and provide support over the life of the aircraft. Many of these new features can be retrofitted in earlier serial number PC-24s.
