The 262,000 square-foot expansions add dedicated G400 production and wing lines as well as additional material delivery and distribution areas. The expansion also augments ongoing growth at Gulfstream’s wing production facility adjacent to the G400, G500 and G600 manufacturing building.
The PW812GA was selected by Gulfstream in October 2021 to power the Gulfstream G400™ business jet. The Transport Canada certification was achieved following more than 3,400 hours of engine testing, including 260 hours of flight testing where the engine showed exceptional performance.
Gulfstream further expands its ultramodern family of aircraft: the G800, the longest-range aircraft in Gulfstream history, and the G400, the first new entrant to the large-cabin class in more than a decade. G800 customer deliveries are anticipated to begin in 2023 and G400 deliveries are anticipated to begin in 2025.
