The Cessna Citation M2 Gen2 is the latest evolution of the Citation M2, which entered service in 2013. The Gen2 update introduced a number of enhancements, including the Garmin G3000 Touch avionics suite.
Marketed under the Gen3 designation, the Cessna Citation M2 Gen3, CJ3 Gen3, and CJ4 Gen3 will feature Garmin Emergency Autoland technology. The Citation CJ4 Gen3 avionics will be upgraded to the next-generation Garmin G3000 PRIME replacing the Collins Pro Line 21 on the CJ4 Gen2.
The new Autothrottles are fully integrated with the Citation M2 Gen2’s Garmin G3000® avionics system and will be available beginning mid-2025.
Tamarack initially secured FAA certification for the Active Winglet upgrade for the Citation M2 in 2015. The most recent installation on a Citation M2 Gen2 illustrates the strong customer demand for upgrade on this popular aircraft.
