Gogo Business Aviation’s global Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) solution, Gogo Galileo HDX will be offered as a factory installation connectivity solution for the Cessna Citation Longitude, Citation Latitude and Citation Ascend. The LEO connectivity solution is expected to be available on the Citation Longitude beginning early 2026. Timing on the other aircraft will be announced at a later date.
Equipped with the Garmin G5000 integrated flight deck, the Cessna Midsize and Supe-Midsize flagship offering will soon feature an array of new advanced features and technology from Garmin that will improve pilot situational awareness and allow for lower approach minima. The new features are planned to enter service in new Latitude jets beginning in 2025 and new Longitude jets in 2026.
SmartSky Networks announced that sales and installation partner Davinci Jets has completed first article installation on the aircraft type. The SmartSky Flagship™ equipped aircraft has returned to service and FAA STC is expected in the coming months. SmartSky has 15 available STCs and more than a dozen in progress.
This agreement extends over over the next 15 years and includes options for an increasing number of Cessna Citation aircraft delivery each year. NetJets has also been named the fleet launch customer for Textron Aviation’s newest jet , the Citation Ascend.
