The SH09 is a clean-sheet design, single-engine light utility helicopter currently under development by Swiss-based Kopter company (Formely Marenco Swiss Helicopter).

Initiated in 2002 by Martin Stucki, a mechanical engineer and commercial helicopter pilot with the purpose of bringing more advanced technologies to the light single-engine segment. The SH09 features a fully composite airframe structure, a shrouded Fenestron tail rotor, and a high visibility cockpit.

After securing initial financing, the program was officially launched in 2009, with the first prototype airplane successfully completing its first flight on October 2, 2014.

The SH09 is powered by a single FADEC equipped Honeywell HTS900 turboshaft engine driving a five-blade main rotor. The Flight deck offers a State-of-the-art modular glass cockpit powered by the Garmin G3000H avionics suite.
