The M500 is the latest updated version of the Malibu Meridian high-performance single-engine turboprop aircraft. Launched in 1997, as a turboprop-powered version of 1983, pressurized cabin, PA-46 Malibu. The Malibu Meridian entered service in 2000. The piston-engine version is still offered under the M350 designation.
Developed by Piper Aircraft of Vero Beach, Florida. The 500 horse-powered M500 is equipped since 2009 with 3 screens Garmin avionics systems updated since to the latest Garmin G1000 NXi integrated avionics system.
