The King Air C90GTx is the latest updated version of the King Air Model 65-90 who first flew on January 24, 1964.

The C90GT introduced in July 2005 was updated with dual 550 horsepower PT6A-135A engines. In 2007 the C90GTi version was upgraded with Rockwell Collins proline 21 avionics and in 2010 the latest C90GTx version received new winglets and increased MTOW. As the latest version of the smaller model 90, the C90GTx is recognizable from its bigger siblings the KA250 and KA300i by its conventional tail versus the T-tail used on the larger king air models.
