Flight Deck

The dual Integrated Flight Management Systems (IFMS) designed by Innovative Solutions & Support (ISS) brings a commercial aviation-grade integrated avionics suite to the Eclipse 550. The flight deck features two 10.4-inch Primary Flight Displays (PFD) and one 15.3-inch Multi-Function Display (MFD). The highly integrated avionics suite offers superior navigation solutions enabling precision approach capabilities. The Eclipse IFMS promotes enhanced situational awareness by providing simple, instinctive, yet highly advanced flight planning with quick and easy access to the flight path, aircraft position, and weather on moving maps and geo-referenced electronic charts.
Optional features include AutoThrottles, Honeywell RDR-2000 weather radar, TAWS, and lightning detection system. An FAA part 135 compliance optional package is available for charter operators. The Eclipse 550 is one of the rare Entry-level jets to offer an optional Enhanced Vision System (EVS) using the lightweight Lexavia LFS6000 compact EVS Model.
