The ACH145 is the corporate version of the twin-engine H145 helicopter previously known under Eurocopter EC145 designation.

Developed under a joint program between Europe based Eurocopter and Japan Kawasaki Heavy Industries. The EC145 was aimed to replace the previous MBB/Kawasaki BK117 join helicopter program. The H145 completed its first flight on June 12, 1999, prior to entering service in 2002.

Primarily designed for the air rescue missions requiring high endurance and payload capability. The EC145 combines the forward cockpit and modern avionics of Eurocopter’s EC 135 with the proven BK117’s rear section.

the intermediate H145 is powered by twin FADEC controlled Safran Arriel 2E engines. The Cockpit features Thales Avionics MEGHAS Flight Control Display System in a three large LCD primary display layout. The type is also fully capable of Category A operations.

The H145 offers a wide cabin allowing for very flexible cabin arrangement. The cabin can be configured with over eight possible layouts ranging from four wide VIP seats on a club-seating arrangement to eight luxury seats on a three rows arrangement.  All seats, galleys, and walls are mounted on rails and can be easily reconfigured from four to eight passengers – or removed to transport more luggage or large items -.

Despite its large seating capacity, the H145 is extremely compact making it the ideal choice for superyacht passengers transfer.

In 2015, Airbus teamed-up with the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Division to bring the high-end  “H145 Mercedes-Benz Style”  version tailored for the private and corporate operations.  This version is proposed in three different harmonies that customers can combine with a real wooden floor or a choice of sophisticated carpets.
