The Dassault Aviation flagship Falcon 8X is a 3.5-feet longer derivative of the 2007 Falcon 7X model and featuring an improved wing and engines.

Announced in 2014, the Falcon 8X first flew on February 6, 2015, prior to entering service in October 2016. Introducing a 5% thrust increase on a 2% more fuel-efficient Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307D and a redesigned ultra-efficient wing coupled with a redesigned Winglets. The Falcon 8X is able to offer a 500 nm range increase compared to the 7X while highly improving the fuel efficiency.

The Falcon 8X offers 3ft longer cabin compare to the Falcon 7X allowing for greater cabin configuration flexibility, especially for long haul operations.

The three spacious seating areas can now be complemented with optional crew rest section, bigger galleys, and aft stand-up shower installation, all part of the over 30 cabin layouts offered by Dassault Aviation. 

Featuring 31 large windows, the cabin can accommodate from twelve to sixteen passengers. The Falcon Cabin HD+ cabin management system allows for high-definition audio and video on demand at passengers’ fingertips. This all-digital, fully integrated system allows passengers to control all cabin functions from their handheld devices.

The Falcon 8X shares the same Flight Deck of the Falcon 7X. 

The Falcon 8X features the highly intuitive and interactive, Falcon’s EASy II (Enhanced Avionics System) powered by the Honeywell Primus EPIC avionics suite. The flight deck is configured with two sidestick controls, four large 14.1-inch displays in a “T” arrangement for improved crew collaboration and situation awareness. The system includes two CCDs (Cursor Control Devices) and two MKBs (Multifunction Keyboards) on the pedestal.

The most recent upgrade features the FalconEye™ Combined Vision System (CVS) HUD option, which delivers an unprecedented level of situational awareness in all flight conditions.
